This Privacy Policy explains how Floatore handles information when you use the app.
1. Overview
Floatore is a macOS app that helps users act on selected text across apps, including translation, search, and related actions.
2. Information Processing
Floatore processes selected text only to perform the action requested by the user.
By default, Floatore does not log selected text as diagnostic data.
3. Diagnostics
If optional diagnostics are enabled, the app may record anonymous performance data and error codes to help improve reliability.
4. Translation Services
The current version supports macOS system translation.
5. Local Storage
App settings may be stored locally on the device. When supported, sensitive credentials such as API keys should be stored in the macOS Keychain.
6. Data Sharing
Floatore does not sell personal data. Information is only shared when needed to complete a user-requested action or when required by law.
